Hi dear eYeka creators!
This month, we want to share with you the story of Asunción, better-known under the name of asunvm. Asunción is from La Linea, Spain, and she joined our community 4 years ago. She is one of our more generous creator... read more about her below!
Tell us a bit more about yourself (what have you done/worked/studied, where do you live, what do you like most about your country/city, what characterizes you the most and anything you feel comfortable sharing) …
I am a teacher in Spain. In my free time I love taking part in creative competitions. I enjoy drawing and photography. Mix both activities is really nice for me.
How did you find out about eYeka?
On Internet. At the moment, I participate in EYEKA competitions and in other websites around all the world.
Do you have a creative process? If so, can you share a bit of your secret with our community? Where do you look for inspiration?
Firstly, the competition must sound fun to me. I always work on paper. I love drawing. I prepare some pictures with different ideas and then I develop them on my computer. I look for inspiration, above all, reading information related to competitions on Internet. That is really enjoyable. You learn multiple new things. I am very fond of new technologies.
When submitting an entry, how do you keep positive if it is rejected or not selected as a winning entry?
I do not feel upset, I am ok. No problem at all. The goal is to do your best and share ideas. Learning is the objective.
We know that you use your prizes to make donations to UNICEF. This is such a generous and lovely gesture! Can you tell us more about it?
I feel really happy when I win a prize because UNICEF is going to do the best use of it.
Apart from UNICEF donations, do you have another dream you would like to reach with the prizes you will win/have won?
Not really. I take part in competitions to have fun. I really enjoy doing it. Donate my prizes to UNICEF gives me double happiness.
If you had to describe eYeka in 3 words, what would they be?
Fun, exciting and worldwide.
Finally, is there anything you would like to share with our creators (secret, tip…)?
Yes, my main advise: enjoy your contests and try to do your best. Read and learn day after day. Observe around you. Simple things are always great.
Thank you EYEKA for being part of me!
