Most of us don’t really pay attention to what toothbrush we use everyday. It’s such an important part of our oral hygiene but we usually tend to make a decision instore based on a fancy design.
More so for developing countries (like Indonesia and India), where toothbrushes are mostly sold in cramped traditional stores and people buy something which is from a reputable brand, ‘advanced-looking’ with soft bristles, but doesn’t burn a hole in their pockets. Every year, billions of plastic toothbrushes are dumped and end up in landfills since they are not recyclable or biodegradable. They release toxic gases when burned and damage the environment. Can you help us change this? Inspire us by designing a low-cost toothbrush which is environmentally friendly and encourages people to do their part for the environment.
