Hello eYeka community! We rarely share corporate news on this blog, but we thought this piece would interest you! On Thursday June 13th, we broadcasted a webinar where Toru Fujii, Senior Creative Director for ADK, shared his point of view about eYeka and the brilliant work on the community. Asatsu-DK (ADK) is Japan's third largest advertising agency, and is working with eYeka since December 2011. Many recent contests, like Burn Creative Energy, Stand for Japan, or Kikkoman, have been orchestrated by ADK.

Toru presented entries examples from the Kikkoman contest (starting at 15:39), like Awaken Your Senses by the Canadian community member Jimi Cuell, or Kikkoman for everyone by the French member Dosco. He also talked about the Burn Energy Drink contest (starting at 20:40), showcasing creations from Goldfinch and Fredcavender, which have been used by Coca-Cola on Japan's Burn Creative Lab website. You can see all the winners of this contest here.

Toru Fujii presented the Schick Quattro contest (starting at 26:20) where eYeka's community was asked to show how titanium can give an unexpected edge. Check out the winners and their creations here. He also talked about the Stand for Japan contest (starting at 29:40) which invited creatives from all over the world to tell what makes Japan unique. Winning entries came from countries like France, Italy and even Nigeria (see them here), reflecting a culturaly diverse celebration of Japanese culture by creatives across the globe.

This project inspired a whole new concept, "Being proud of our own nation is the best way to revitalize Japan" that helped Toru shape the “RECOVER JAPAN” Campaign for Shinzo Abe's Liberal Democratic Party during the house of representatives elections in 2012. We were stunned, but absolutely not surprised, that the richness of your work inspired Toru to find a relevant way to Stand For Japan. It is just great to see how brilliant ideas materialize, isn't it? What do you think? Do you like this type of feedback from clients and or agency directors? Let us know, and we will do our best to show you more!
