Here are the authors of the 3 winning concepts:
(3,000€) goes to ManuFF
(Spain) for Health Phone
I know eYeka from my team partner and friend Gilower. He is also user of eYeka since a long time ago. Now we are making different projects together and this prize is the result of the coordination and teamwork. We thought that we couldn´t leave the opportunity of doing something good for the society and it could be thrilling to imagine and create a new concept of Smartphone that can change the users’ life. When we realized that our health phone project was the winner we felt very proud and we saw the reward of the hard work. Having this great feedback make us dream a lot of the future creations. I think that the team work is the only way to make this kind of projects. We have different opinions, judgments and points of view and this is good to get the best quality in every project.
(1,500€) goes to pasJR
(Italy) for Ball
3 days before the deadline we met for the first brainstorming. At first we were thinking about something that could be used as a phone and as a tablet at the same time, something that could be foldable in some way. Then we started searching the web for ideas and when we discovered that Nokia had designed 7 years before something pretty much similar to what we thought it was now super futuristic, then we set our imagination free and we gave birth to Ball... We are a team of 3. Marco Paselli (25), Tommaso Grassi (25) and Carlo Bergonzini (25). We all are studying architectural engineering at the university of Bologna and we really enjoyed the time spent together thinking about the smartphone of the future. Because of the exam sessions we've been forced to start working 3 days before the deadline. We've been working for 2 days 14h a day to create Ball, part of the drawings were created by Tommaso on a train running from Arezzo to Bologna 3 hours before the deadline. During those two days a lot of friends, parents, relatives, brothers and sisters were asked to tell us what they thought about it, and we want now to thank them all: Francesco Saverio, Andrea, Francesca, Giovanna, Alessandra, Michele, Paolo, Giovan Battista...
(500€) goes to crazydylus
(Spain) for NAIL Smartphone
I’ve known eYeka since I was 4th grade in university. I love to take challenge on competition. Creating something beyond our wildest imagination is just amazing. I found that excitement on eYeka, it gives me so many problem challenge to solve. eYeka keep helping me ‘sharpen’ my creativity, and also keep attracting me to get the price. eYeka is one of my best competition challenge source I ever met. I need to make my creativity stay ‘sharp’. Currently, I work as Product Designer in a company, which gives me the same job every day. I need to do something different to keep my excitement alive, so I always searching another part time job, or design competitions. To learn that you are a winner is really mind-blowing, I already submitted some works since I joined and never get chosen to be a winner. Winning a contest from eYeka for the first time like this, definitely make me confident that my work is competent. I’m sure I will join another contests more and more.
Congratulations to the winners! Thank you for your amazing innovative ideas, which showed us a piece of future life in 2020.
We also want to say big thank you to all the participants for your creativity and great vision.
We wish you good luck in the future contests on eYeka!
