The UNESCO Memory of the World Programme aims to preserve, provide access and raise awareness about the World’s heritage. One collection that has been preserved concerns the destruction of the Aral Sea in Central Asia. This is one of the biggest man-made catastrophes of the world, but there are others.
Create a poster that calls for an end to planetary destruction caused by human activity.
We are looking for original and quality posters that tell a story on avoiding planetary destruction caused by human activity. We are looking for posters that focus on the Aral Sea or other ecological disasters caused by human activity. Use your creativity to inspire people to get involved and do their part to keep the planet healthy.

The reward for this contest is great fame for a great cause:

The top 10 finalists will be featured on the UNESCO Memory of the World website.
The top 3 winners will receive certificates from UNESCO.

Don't forget to use the contest discussion tab if you have any comment or suggestion. This UNESCO contest will be running until 24 of September.
Please note: this contest may look similar to the one we had some time ago about the Memory of the World, but it is not the same. This time we want you to engage your fellow citizens with a print, to make them take action to preserve the planet.

Engage yourself in engaging the others!
