Dear creators, we are glad to announce the 3 top winners and 15 finalists of "Create a poster for World Press Freedom Day" contest!
We are very proud here, and it is thanks to you guys who created amazing creative media for this contest : with 100 posters and creators from more than 20 different countries.
Thank you all for your massive and amazing participation! eYeka community managers and Unesco enjoyed a lot to see all this creativity for a great cause.
Electing winners and finalists was not so easy as many illustrations were on top list!
Here it is (please read in italic the Jury feedback) :
1st winner: kaisermik (from Belgium)This top 3 winning images will be broadcast during the celebration of World Press Freedom day by UNESCO in Tunisia and during a ceremony at the United Nations in New York where the creators’ eYeka usernames will be mentioned. The top images will also be featured on the UNESCO webpage for the day and made available to 195 Member States for their celebrations during World Press Freedom Day on May 3rd. Following the event, the top imageswill remain as features on UNESCO's web and a certificate from UNESCO regarding their quality contribution to World Press Freedom Day will be given to the winners.

2nd winner: Phixel (from Algeria)

3rd winner: dax (from Philippines)
"This creator illustrates so well the essential part of the press freedom in our society. In so many countries journalists are the mainly (or even the only) view through the truth, through the world."
