The World has a memory. A memory that encompasses what humanity is about, since the first people walked the earth. How will you personally contribute to this memory? How can you help to increase knowledge? eYeka, in support of UNESCO’s programme, would like you to create a 30 secs video/animation that shows what YOU would like to preserve as Memory of the World and how you would preserve it. Find your inspiration in your history: you are part of a community, a society, a nation, the world! Tell us what moves you about them.Your video will contribute to make people understand the importance of preserving documentary heritage. Format Original video or animation in .mpeg, .avi, .mp4g … submit your creation in High Resolution! (no longer than 30 secs) For this contest, we don't have any cash prizes, but the top videos will be used in a year long campaign to promote the 20th Anniversary of the Memory of the World. They will be featured on UNESCO’s website and available via UNESCO YouTube to 195 Member States in order to promote Memory of the World worldwide. Additionally, the winning submissions will receive a certificate from UNESCO regarding their quality contribution to the Memory of the World Programme. We would like to see entries that tell a story.
