Hey everyone, Here are the results for the Cristal Film festival call for entry. Following the Jury’s meeting, only 2 films thus 2 filmmakers were chosen to join the event. We are very disappointed and we can imagine that you will also be. We’ve asked the team to explain their choices since we weren’t part of this meeting and despite of our insistent advices the Jury's choice won't change. Please see below the 2 videos and the organizer's explanation. Nevertheless a round of applause for AlexandreDUBOSC and Gilz who had the right submission at the right time !

Dear young filmmakers, The  young directors’ Forum is now 9 years old and thinks of itself  as a gateway between the young talented directors and the world of advertising. Each year we invite to Crans Montana  filmmakers to take part of the opportunities offered by the Cristal Festival which brings the European media and advertising professionals together. The credo of this competition is excellence and we bring together each year a jury of recognized professionals in the world of advertising and image to assess what films deserve to be distributed during the festival: it's mostly TV Productions working in the largest French agencies and with extensive experience, and post-production or cinema professional. They therefore relate to films that they see a severe professional look. The Board met on 24 November in Paris to view the films in competition. Members of the jury considered that only two films have the qualifications to be part of the selection: Vincent Londez Playgirl and Food About You from Alexandre Dubosc. They have considered the potential of each Director to drill at this stage in advertising rather than its intrinsic quality. This selection casts doubt on your talent at all and the jury invites you to retry your luck for the next edition. We therefore wished to thank you all for your participation, because we know that you put much of yourself into your accomplishments. Initiatives will be announced shortly to enable young filmmakers to meet producers in Paris and we hope to count you among us from these meetings. See you soon, The  Young Directors Forum team
