Update on the Piaget Brief

Mar 05

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your interest in the Piaget contest. We would like to inform you that there are important changes on the Piaget competition. Unfortunately, Piaget’s event at Place Vendome is cancelled due to legal reasons and as such, we have no choice but to amend the brief which was originally to create a video around the keywords “Piaget, Place Vendome and Celebration”.

This is a very difficult decision as we understand that many of you have started working on the existing brief and have put in a lot of effort. We’ve tried our best to avoid any changes but the circumstance makes it unavoidable.

For all those who submitted their entries in time for the Early Bird deadline, we will update you on Monday (8 March 2010). Meanwhile, the revised brief is currently being developed so please stay tuned for more updates! Again, please accept our sincerest apologies.

Sorry once again,

Nicolas

Sennheiser Headphones Design Competition follow up

Oct 06

Hey everyone,

The client is still in the process of shortlisting the designs to be diplayed onto the microsite.

As stated in the contest rules, out of the total entries received a shortlist will be made. The shortlisted entries will then be divided into three groups: October, November and December with 15 winners announced each month. So the winners will not be announced at one go, but rather, there will be three announcements made.

We’ll inform everyone once the shortlist has been made.

Sorry about the delays once again….

Sennheiser Headphones Design Contest Requirements

Jul 30

ncrease your chances of winning, here’s a recap of the requirements to follow:- Upload high-resolution JPEG/TIFF files of your design on Eyeka, minimum resolution of 150dpi. The size should be at least 1366 x 758 pixels.
- Keep the original Adobe Illustrator (.AI) file of your designs as you’ll be required to submit this if you’re selected as a winner!
- Make sure that your design is following the proper orientation, and not upside down! The wide part is the bottom part for both left and right ear cups.
- Lastly, it’s Sennheiser and not Synnheiser or any other spelling variation. ;)

All the best and keep those amazing designs coming!

Lulu Castagnette follow-up

Feb 12

First of all, thank you all and congrats for all your entries on the contest ( 215 videos!)

We met with the client yesterday and a shortlist is in the works, the results should be annouced the first week of March. To give you some feedback on the videos, you have simply surpassed yourselves in terms of quality. Some of our regulars have delivered their most beautiful work yet!
BUT, because there is a BUT, the vast majority of the videos did not respond to the brief, which specified making a VIRAL video… and we received tons of ads, inspirational, and institutional videos instead – but in the end only about fifteen potentially viral.
As a reminder for future contests, a viral video is one that is so funny or unexpected that you immediatly want to forward it to all your friends.

To be continued in March, stay tuned… ;-)

MTV + ME Winners!

Dec 10

I’ve been getting a lot of mail about this, and the results came in before the deadline which was December 15th, but here they are, the winners of the MTV+ME contest!

MTV was thrilled with the videos they got from the Community, and good news, they will not only be aired on MTV Asia, but Worldwide! So congrats and thank you!

For those of you who posted their videos both on Eyeka.com and Eyeka.asia, your video might be in their shortlist ( out on their blog very soon).

We will contact you to send us the video in the proper format, and with minor changes if needed…
