After going through a bunch of orange-colour-infused entries (almost literally), we have gotten the winners of Frutz contest!
Here they are! The creators of the three best creations in this contest. You can read the jury’s comment and a short story from the winner below their respective names:
First Prize of EUR 5,000 goes to Mateja (Slovenia) with Frutz Effect
“It simply says the refreshing effect of having Frutz. The orange slice acts as the “earth” and it cues freshness and natural. This is good at creating differentiation.”
I am of course very happy about the prize, and I appreciate the chance to participate in the creative challenges that eYeka is offering. As I read the brief, I was immediately inspired by Frutz call for entries. I wanted to demonstrate a funny, surrealistic effect that Frutz has on the one that drinks it, as well as on everyone around.
As I’ve spent quite some time working on my video/animation and since it includes many images of oranges and juice – I was constantly thirsty and had a taste for orange juice all the time while working on this video I can’t remember ever drinking so much orange juice in a period of time )) ….unfortunately I didn’t yet have the chance to try Frutz, but I’m looking forward to find it on the market.
Second Prize of EUR 3,000 goes to JMGPRODUCTION80 (France) with Frutz – Just Inimitable 1
“It’s unexpected and surprising! And it has a funny story in social context.”
Only Frutz consumers can feel its power: simple, happy, and unique. It is an easy way for a larger target to identify with the situation and the complicity of friends that is shown. Music by the actors was completely improvised without thinking, no rhythm was previously defined. It was important to let them create their own sounds to build a rapport between them and thus enhance the natural and surprising elements of the drink.
During the shooting, actors were improvising more and more in the sounds production as strange and as curious it could be. The voice of the third actor triggered the general hilarity. A very enjoyable shooting, indeed.
Third Prize of EUR 2,000 goes to Gejby (Czech Republic) with Boring Meeting
“Relevant story in showing the uplifting of mood and time enjoyment.”
When I saw the contest on Eyeka I promised to myself I´ll come up with something fresh and funny. I imagined how refreshing must be a Frutz drink itself and how it could uplift my mood in some everyday boring and annoying situation. I sat down thinking and then started to draw with a fresh idea in the head and after then I presented myself with storyboard for Frutz hoping you will like it!
Congratulation, guys!! It was soooo fun going through all of your creations! We saw oranges everywhere.
