Illustrate your ideal relationship with a Brand and win 3.500 €

Aug 27

Our relationship to brands has changed in the recent years. With the rise of internet, social media and mobile communications, we are now used to be in touch with our family, friends and work colleagues almost in real time. eYeka is happy to present a new call for entries!

As a result, we now expect the same from brands: more and faster information about their products, easy purchase, instant resolution when we have a problem… and we develop a true relationship with them.
Eyeka would like your point of view to understand and illustrate how you relate to brands today, what you expect from them, from their products and services, where they satisfy you, where they frustrate you, what a relationship would be like with them in an ideal world…

Until September 27th, through a 30 to 45 second video, illustrate and show us the ideal relationship between a brand and a consumer (or more). You can be off beat, witty, wicked or more down to earth. You can take it off context and use your imagination with metaphors and counts and stories (chishire cat and pink elephants accepted) , or imagine real life situations (a date, an interview, a concert…) illustrating that bond. Just keep in mind that the audience has to clearly understand that your video illustrates a brand/client relationship ;)

How would a brand behave in such an ideal relationship? What would it do for you? How would you engage with it? How would such a brand create, sell and service its products? Videos should be in English language, or include English subtitles if you don’t speak English.

Here are the different prizes:

  • Grand prize: 2.500€
  • Second prize: 1.000€

Good luck! :)

Levi's

Is it our fault for not having a booty like JLo? Must we all look slender like Kate Moss? What if you are somewhere in between? Why oh why do we force ourselves to fit in?

Share your stories of your fit frustrations and adventure of finding that perfect ‘one’ through a 30 to 60 seconds video! the idea is not to shoot a TVC, but surprise us by your revelations, make us laugh with your confessions, provoke us with your stories and inspire us with your quest. Create a video that women of all shapes and sizes can resonate with.

The campaign can be articulated from one of these 3 perspectives of “Believe”, “Fit Frustration” or “Revelation of Levi’s® Curve ID or a combination of any that is most relevant to you.

Believe:
This is about that all too familiar “YOU GO GIRL!” moment, illustrating how the issue of finding the right fit goes beyond the search for the perfect jeans. This is about embracing who you are and believing that you deserve the best. This is about fitting in by standing out.

Fit Frustration:
Tell us about your tales of having to put up with ill-fitting jeans, whether it is “muffin top”, “gaping back” or “too tight on thigh/ waist”. Women have either accepted their fate, forced into a pair or are still searching for “The One”. Which is your frustration?

Evelation of Levi’s® Curve ID:
Introducing a revolutionary way in buying jeans, the Levi’s® Curve ID marks the end of the dark ages, where women can find their perfect fitted jeans according to their shapes, not sizes. So whether you have a body like Kate Moss, JLo or anything in between, a pair of custom fit Levi’s® Curve ID awaits you.

Dear Participants, here are some tips for you that will give you a better chance at winning.
With less than two weeks left before the deadline, let’s get those creative and imaginative juices flowing!

As we have mentioned before, Lien Foundation would like to showcase the participating entries (not confined to the winners! ) where possible in a physical installation, as part of the global campaign to break the silence of death through ‘die-logues’. So they want the submitted entries to be as high resolution as possible.

We prefer for graphics that are vector-based where possible (e.g. in Adode Illustrator format) so that there will be no loss of resolution; For files that are done in Photoshop and not vector-based, participants should preferably do it at on a canvas of at least A3 size and 300 dpi.

Some entries we received so far are in low resolution, we recommend you submit the high resolution for future showcase.

Secondly, we want to remind everyone that you need to design the five sides of the coffin: the top and the four sides around and all entries must use the design template provided, the 3D visualization is only meant as a guide, you don’t need to submit your 3D design. :)

Lastly, according to the contest brief, each entry must be accompanied by a write-up, of no more than 300 words, describing the design concept or story of the entry. If the coffin is designed for someone other than yourself, explain why the intention and how the design came about. The description may be used as a factor in determining the winners, so do pay attention to it! :)
